Toorak College | 1874 Mount Eliza

Toorak Girl's Boarding House

Our ideal location

Boarding has been an integral part of Toorak College since its foundation in Mount Eliza in 1928. Joan Ansett Hall is a purpose built boarding facility situated near to the gym which includes a fully equipped circuit room and is opposite the heated swimming and diving pools. Tennis and badminton courts are also close by. Special activities are organised to allow students to experience the advantages of living on the Mornington Peninsula and in close proximity to Melbourne.

In order to ensure a learning environment that is conducive to study, boarders have supervised study times, individual study facilities and access to the School's internet and intranet. Tutors are available in the evenings to support the boarders in their study.

We have single rooms for our students in Years 11 and 12, and Year 7 to 10 students are accommodated in twin rooms. This allows them to learn to live cooperatively with others and to foster friendships.
