Lantern Festival

Now in its second year the Toorak College Lantern Festival is fast becoming a favourite event in the School calendar. The Cloisters was transformed for the event with lanterns and decorations making it a festive space to be enjoyed. Thank you to the Friends of Wardle House and Senior School parents for their time and effort.

There was no shortage of activities and performances to entertain the whole family, the Cloisters centre stage showcased the musical talents of students, parents and staff. While out on the upper oval everyone enjoyed the rides, kids activities and a beautiful Mornington Peninsula sunset. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying picnics following from the ELC/Prep family fun night.

We were spoilt for delicious food options with the popular Parents & Friends Association barbeque, Toorak Caterers food stall and food vans assembled on the oval. Everyone enjoyed the Twisty Taters! The Chinese Youth Society performers entertained the crowd with Lion dancers, Happy Buddha and drummers - a prelude to the fireworks that ended a spectacular evening.

Thank you to all students, parents, staff and the school community for coming together to make this such an enjoyable event.
