Outstanding performances at the Biennial Concert

Tuesday 29 August was our biggest event on the musical calendar.

The Biennial Concert, held every two years, at Frankston Arts Centre was a resounding success. Bands, Choirs and Orchestras from Wardle House and Senior School entertained the audience, with Toorak Collegian and comedian Jean Kittson hosting the evening. The theme of the evening was Australian music, with much variety, in both classical and contemporary genres. Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree and Skippy The Bush Kangaroo made appearances, along with Sia, and Tina Arena. Many Collegians also returned to the stage to take part in the newly formed Collegians Band. The Grand Finale was an ’Aussie Medley’ of songs from the 70’s and 80’s enjoyed by all.
