Our mission remains unchanged: Connecting Collegians to create and enhance life-long connections with the School.
We do this by focussing on:

2024/25 PRESIDENT REPORT
This year, our committee, our members, the school, and the community we serve really came together, with synergy, as we helped celebrate a very special milestone – Toorak Colleges 150th year.
The 2024 Elephant was a beautiful tribute to legacy, with profiles of inspirational Collegians - Georgina Such, Dr Vera Scantelbury, Hayley Cull, Freda Thompson, Kim Sajet, Dorothy Wardle, Merrin McArthur & Marion Sinclair. Each having a unique story, but with a common thread – breaking barriers through trying something new, reframing fails as learns, and, my favourite word, having grit.
The launch of “A Ribbon Runs Through It” in August 2024 was also a significant milestone an important tile in the school’s history and a resource for current students to learn from.
The campaign that ran through the year celebrating legacy and featuring many intergenerational collegians was also a highlight – the quality was superb and we all felt proud and connected when we saw the images around the community.
Reunions remain the core of what we do for Collegians. We continue to adapt to make each reunion memorable and enjoyable. School tours continue to be popular and spark nostalgia as girls reflect and reminisce together. The highlight of the 2024 Reunion Calendar was using the incredible new Community and Arts Precinct. We hosted over 250 Collegians across our Reunions this year. Our Cloisters Club and 30- and 40-year reunions continue to be our strongest connection points with great attendance figures, whilst our 10/20 remain solid and we’ll pivot both venue and timing for our newly incorporated 1-5 Reunion. In 2024 we also held a Reunion in Perth for our Western Australian Collegians with a number of other Melbourne based schools, strengthening both our Collegian and interschool connections.
The Wilderness Shield continues to grow in popularity, with over 85 Collegians and Students participating in March this year – our highest number ever. The day was a resounding success, with fierce rivalry.
Archives
This year we continue to work closely with the Archivist Claire Sandell. Claire’s work adds significant value as we continue to collate and catalogue the history of the school.
Collegian Funded Projects
The Collegians Committee provides funding to help grow our community, through the School and our future Collegians, and also supports our current Collegians through events, reunions, grants and more. In 2024/5 we committed to some amazing projects including:
