Full Time Boarding

Full time boarders can embrace all that Toorak College offers. We offer our Boarders a safe living environment with quality care, guidance and expert supervision; dedicated staff who look after the girls’ academic, social, emotional and recreational needs; participation in our Residential Learning program; chef prepared meals that cater to a range of dietary requirements; supervised study time and access to our tutoring program; the use of School facilities, 7 days a week.

Residential Learning

Our Residential Learning program runs on key weekends throughout the school year and are set aside for team building activities and visits to Victorian landmarks such as Phillip Island and Sovereign Hill. These experiences include a full range of cultural activities and guest speakers related to the development of life skills and experiences.

Weekly Boarding

Weekly boarding provides the perfect balance between home life and school life. Girls live in the Joan Ansett Hall Boarding House during the week where they can concentrate on their studies and extra-curricular activities and then have weekends at home to enjoy quality time with family, engage in casual employment or play in local sporting competitions.

Short Stay Boarding

We welcome girls to stay on a casual basis. We understand there are times when your family may find this option helpful, for instance, if you are planning a trip and it is not the best time for your daughter to be away from school. She will be well cared for in the familiar and safe Toorak College environment. Should she stay over a weekend she will also participate in the Residential Learning Program.

Learning English

Toorak College students access mainstream classes from day one and they always have the support of the onsite English Language Support Centre until their graduation. This unique blended learning model accelerates their academic and personal growth.

In order to ensure a learning environment that is conducive to study, boarders have supervised study times, individual study facilities and access to the School's internet and intranet. Tutors are available in the evenings to support the boarders in their study.
