Remote and online learning from Monday 23rd March
Toorak College has made the decision to move to remote and online learning from Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March. This decision has been made to provide certainty and a clear plan moving forward to our community and is based on two key priorities. The first being the health and safety of our community and the second being the need to maintain as much normality as possible for our students. Our remote and online learning program will involve; Students from ELC will be provided with activities that can be done at home to foster creativity, physical activity and curiosity. Students from Prep-12 will involve themselves in an online learning experience. Each day will run similarly to a school day and may involve live classes on Google classroom, recorded classes posted to iVE or set work given by a teacher to complete. We understand that, due to differing care arrangements, students may not be able to take part in our full offsite educational program and during these times of disruption, we will be doing all we can to support our families. Further information on our remote and online learning program will be posted on iVE this week for staff, students and families.
